My children have been going to this school for 2 years now. They love going there and love their teachers. Their teachers are amazing. They answer any and all questions I have. Their principal is 100% for the children and I love that.

I'm a former Waynedale student and I'm not sure how there are so many stellar reviews here. The school is located in the middle of nowhere so, as in almost every small town, almost the entire student body is made up of incredibly conservative Bible-thumpers who refuse to listen to anything that contradicts their views. The number of racist, sexist, and homophobic comments heard in just a single day are astonishing. The one upside to the school are the incredible music programs. The band and choir constantly receive high reviews at state contest and the theater department, falling under the direction of the choir director, is beyond amazing. Unfortunately, these are often overlooked in favor of giving more support to the sports programs. Despite regularly having teams that disappoint across the board, the most funding and support are shown for these programs. Several teachers double as coaches and student athletes can get away with almost anything in these classes. A few teachers were all right but in most if not all of my classes we learned very little and were certainly behind our peers that I spoke to at other schools. I left Waynedale with hardly any life skills and struggle to keep up with my peers in college. I would not recommend this school to anyone and would highly encourage you to send your children almost anywhere but here.
