2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is horrible. The teachers are beyond lazy, and do not effectively respond to anything. The school did a poor job of keeping parents informed. The staff members are rude. And the teachers who do respond have no educational thought process. The teacher to student ratio is floored. Your child will be failing and you will never know. Everything is electronic. The communication at this school is a complete failure, with the staff and administrators. The kids are very rude and very disrespectful. I cried one day walking the halls, if you hear the way these children talk and the way the staff communicate with them is so sickening. A student once brought a gun to school and that was the biggest fear of my life. While the school was on shut down the after math of it all was just poorly dealt with. There was no type of intervention with kids and parents who had to deal with the chaos. Do not walk RUN FROM THIS SCHOOL IT IS HORRIBLE!!!!! This school has always had a bad reputation from pass to present. The schools in these areas are the worst. And the scores and grade the school has shows it. They do not care about the kids. "There are neighbors who have aggressive breeds, one day they got away from owner, attacked and killed my neighbors dog, since that event I stopped walking my dogs because I’m scared of another encounter. It was reported to police and nothing was done, my dogs and I stay within confines of our gated yard "

"South Middle River is an up-and-coming area with tremendous community involvement. It is close to downtown and the beach, and the property prices are the most reasonable in Ft. Lauderdale."

"This suburb of Fort Lauderdale is quieter than the downtown area, yet close enough to make all of Las Olas available for nightlife and shopping options. Wilton Manors is just over the river, offering plenty of dining, shopping and clubbing options as well, plus daytime activities such as parks and canoeing on the middle river. The schools are actually underpopulated and well-funded, making for a prime choice for anyone with children."
