The apartment has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen and living space. The living area is spacious and overlooks the garden with its large window. All new flooring, newly painted walls. Nine foot ceilings. Located conveniently to grocery stores, restaurants and Lake Merritt. Walkable and bikeable to Grand Lake farmers market, downtown Oakland, Lake Merritt Bart.

Shared space: Large outdoor space with outdoor seating, garden trellis, pond for residents to enjoy. Parking is available in a secure lot at an additional cost. Professional gardener maintenance. Shared laundry unit.

Residents: Numerous young professionals and graduate students. Friendly, quiet, well-maintained household. We love to garden and the great outdoors.

Rent: $2000 per month. Security deposit is one month rent. Last month rent also due upon move in.
Car: $100 per month
Area Square Foot: 500 SF
Utilities: Tenant responsible for PGE. Water and trash utility is provided.

We love our furry companions and would love to meet them!! Pet-friendly. Must be under voice-control and on-leash in common shared spaces.

    "I've lived in the neighborhood for 2 years and absolutely love it. It's in a fantastic location that is walking distance to Lake Merritt and a short bike ride to downtown. Philomena, Xochi the Dog Cafe, Portal, and Lucky's are all right here. The neighborhood has beautiful old homes and is in an obvious transition phase. Tons of houses are getting updated and a real community pride is blossoming."

    "It's a fine place for dogs, not really any better or worse than most other places. My only concern would be that the neighborhood is not always safe, especially in the evenings. During the day you don't really need to worry, but it's not unusual to hear gunshots late at night. So take your dog out in the day, avoid late night walks."
