  • S.afitch

  • Jessi Quarles
"There aren’t many events to go to. It is a very small town mostly made up of Texas a&m commerce and students. Does have a small town feel but not a lot of opportunity for retail or other amenities for family life. "
  • Jessi Quarles
"Small town vibe. Cute park, splash pad, rural community. Nice quiet place to live. College town but most of the town is the college. Not much for entertainment. "
  • Kathy Edwards Myers
"We have an active Downtown Alliance that regularly host family friendly events on the Square and a few city wide festivals each year. "
  • Micah M.
"Short with little traffic most days. It’s a small town with a big university and plenty of police patrolling. "
  • Shelby W.
"Lots of stray cats, just keep them on leashes I suppose. Some people have mean dogs and the cats cause a flea problem. "
  • Shelby W.
"You’re probably safe, commerce is just a poor community with little face value. Lots of walnuts though. "
  • caden
"i mean it’s your standard run of the mill rental neighborhood. it’s nothing special unless you count bad road conditions. there was also a shooting here last night so yknow"
  • Colton Q.
"Congested when College is back in session and college kids are back in town otherwise it’s very smooth commute. "
  • Teressa K.
"This area has an excellent park nearby. Commerce is a college town. We only have one grocery store,(Brookshires) and a small Walmart. Only a handful of places to eat out at. Commerce has nothing to offer the younger generations to come and raise their families. "
  • Sherryduty_1965
"I've lived in Commerce all of my life, and the area I live in is good but it's time for us to move, we need a new place to live the rest of our life."
  • Laura H. I.
"I have lived here for 15 years in the country..We love the peace and quiet..All the beautiful wild animals..."
  • Joalco2031
"Not a lot of houses are occupied. Lots of stray cats roaming, and strange people walking to and from the liquor store "
