2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI do not expect perfection but sheesh!!I worked at this school, and when I say the "teacher" was rude and nasty towards me for no apparent reason.....No matter what I asked... (do you want me to do this, do you need that, I will get it... It was a NO!) then turned around and made a false complaint about me which forced me out of work for weeks until further notice.. The next course of action for them was a meeting. When I had this meeting to discuss what actually went on,.. I had my notes of here treatment as I already was not happy about her or her treatment.. I was not able to talk nor did my representative represent me! At the end of it all, I was told that I better not get in any more trouble OR ELSE he knew that what the "teacher" wrote was true. INVALIDATING EVERYTHING THAT I STAND FOR. I STAND UP FOR THE CHILDREN.. THEY ARE THE ONES I SERVE. I DO NOT LIKE BULLIES AND THEY HAVE ONE AS A TEACHER. I WILL NOT CALL NAMES BECAUSE SHE KNOWS WHO SHE IS AND THE WORST PART IS SHE WORKS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS. SHAME ON YOU. SHAME ON THE SYSTEM AS WELL. YOU WHO LET IT HAPPEN. HOME SCHOOL YOUR CHILDREN!!! Since I've worked in the school system and daycares.... I know what I know and I home school my children.. I refuse to let random people just push misleading and false information into my children's mind. PEACE AND LOVE TO ALL WE ARE ONE, SO EACH ONE TEACH ONE.Other Review3y ago4 Reviews - Is 318 Eugeno Maria De Hostos

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHaving grown up in the neighborhood, there were not many schools that offered as much as IS318 did. We decided to send our child there. The school is large but my child loved their class. It felt like a small school within itself as they traveled throughout the day together. Although my child was not interested in their most advertised programs like chess or band, he absolutely loved his time in ceramics and visual arts. The teachers communicated often and input grades daily so there was never a surprise when report cards came. The school held at least one event a month to get students and families involved after school. We looked forward to their international night the most! It was such a fantastic celebration of different cultures and traditions. Not every school is for every child but 318 went above and beyond any school I visited or heard about from other local parents.Parent Review2mo ago21 Reviews - Ps 380 John Wayne Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter goes to this school and I used to go to this school it was good when I went but after the new principal it has turned horrible!!! She is so rude and lazy, they took many fun and exciting things away, also my aunt works there and she was talking horribly about her. She was no help when my daughter needed something and she is very rude and strict with the teachersParent Review3y ago8 Reviews - Check out schools near 70 Lorimer St #7A.

"It’s so gentrified, everything is so expensive. It’s unfortunate this is where I was raised and I can’t even provide that for my kids anymore. "
