Great school with a lot of options and a huge cte center which includes but not limited to welding,construction,veterinary ect

I was apprehensive about putting my child in a public school, but it has been fantastic. The school is an older building, but the classroom is very nicely equipped and the teachers and administration are fantastic. My son has grown so much this year.

I made the difficult decision to remove my child from this school after repeated concerns about how student conflicts, bullying complaints, and student welfare issues were handled. Over time, I lost confidence in the administration’s ability to properly address serious concerns brought forward by both students and parents.There were multiple situations where my child felt dismissed rather than supported, and communication from leadership often felt minimal or unhelpful. I was especially troubled by racist comments and racially insensitive behavior between students that, in my opinion, were not handled with the seriousness they deserved. As a parent, it was upsetting to feel that these incidents were minimized rather than addressed in a meaningful and proactive way.My child also felt unfairly labeled and unheard during conflicts, which added to the emotional stress surrounding the situation. In addition, there were conversations involving inappropriate behavior and student safety concerns that I believed required stronger follow-up and transparency from the school.I understand that no school is perfect and that administrators face difficult situations regularly. However, parents deserve to know that concerns involving racist behavior, bullying, student safety, and emotional well-being will be taken seriously and handled professionally.Unfortunately, that was not our experience, and for our family the best decision was to move on and find a more supportive environment for our child.
