Neighborhood Description

This home is one of 4 homes built in a private enclave that was once the Brainard estate. Kings Path is a private road that adjoins Riverview Drive which follows the Manasquan River from the heart of Brielle to Route 70 further north. Riverview Drive and the streets that fork off it has long been one of the most charming areas in Monmouth County. Most of the homes that line the waterfront have docks...and boaters can be in open water in a few minutes, going out through the Manasquan Inlet.

Once a small fishing town, Brielle was named for a town in the Netherlands. At one time it had a sizeable number of windmills, but almost all of them were torn down as the town attracted a larger population because of its lovely natural setting along the coastal bluffs. Brielle has a wonderful elementary school (grades K-8) and people often move here because of the school. High school students attend Manasquan High School along with students from several other local Shore communities.

It is a community where you feel safe walking your dog at midnight, where you know your neighbors, where you'd like to have your kids grow up, and where you'd like to retire. After living many places in the world, I now live here. It is a great place to call home!
7 The Kings Path, Brielle, NJ 08730 is a 7 bedroom, 4 bathroom, 4,000 sqft single-family home built in 1967. It last sold for $1,319,000 on Dec 3, 2012. It is currently off market. The Trulia Estimate is $4,801,200, with a rent estimate of $5,915/month.

  • Beachgolfer
"I have lived in this borough in South Monmouth County since 1981. This is my fourth home in this borough. We have lived in this particular home near the Manasquan River since 2001. We hope to downsize in this town or one adjacent to a condo with an elevator. We do not need amenities in our next home. "
  • Beachgolfer
"Love this neighborhood. It’s near the Manasquan River which can be seen from many of the homes on my block and those around this neighborhood. It is also very close to the golf course. In short terms it is a very special place to me and my family. "
  • Sean L.

"Awesome are to live, walking distance to schools, shopping, public transportation (Trains, Busses and cab service) Walking distance to parks and recreation, Beach just over a mile, easy bike ride or walk. Great Bike trail with multiple playgrounds and stops on trail several miles long. Within an hour to major airports, Atlantic city, Newark and Philadelphia, add a few miles to get to JFK or LaGuardia. Many other local beaches only a short drive. Atlantic City is less than an hour drive, Pocono Mountains resorts and multiple ski resorts about an hour to hour and a half drive. NY City and Philadelphia within an hour drive, Great school system, Pre K through 8th grade in town and walking distance. Community programs and involvement, Choice of several High schools. I can't say enough about the area."
