This school is equipped with the most important asset! A principal, teachers and staff who truly care for the kids. Throughout the pandemic they have been amazing in every way possible. Both my kids have been there and we loved every bit of it. The way they turned things around practically overnight at the onset of the pandemic and how they pulled through is something I can only believe because we witnessed it. Through this entire ordeal the school has been a source of comfort for parents and children. The way the teachers worked wonders with new technologies, keeping the kids engaged despite long days in front of a screen is commendable. We are truly thankful for having been at that school for this trying time in our history. I'd recommend the Blackstone elementary and middle schools to anyone!

504 follow through is nearly nonexistent unless you stay on the teachers and principles about it. Children are fully blamed for their academic struggles despite the schools poor communication, organization, and ignoring of 504s. Some teacher are extra supportive and creative, other can’t seem to get their head out of their butt. Counselors are great but are only able to do so much in the environment they are in. Both my child and myself are extremely dissatisfied with this school.

Over the last few years, there has been a very high teacher turnover rate at AFM / JFK School.
