About this House

* THIS IS A SHORT TERM RENTAL ONLY *

Available from 1/23/26 - 3/31/26 and otherwise it is listed on AirBnb. Ideally I'm looking for someone who rents for the entire period. If it's a multi month stay, last month's rent is also required to secure the rental.

"La Primera"(the 1st) is a special place to me because it was my first home! It was originally a cottage style house with a lot of original woodwork but I've updated most of the house leaving some hints of the original cottage style. The house is fully furnished as it's also listed on AirBnb and Furnished Finder. It's located on a short dead end street with only 4 other houses so it's a quiet neighborhood with older neighbors. It has 3 bedrooms, an enclosed 3 season porch, outdoor patio and large 4 car driveway. It's near Umass medical and has some water views of Lake Quinsigamond! There's 1 full bathroom with a full-size tub, ceiling vent and the house has many ceiling fans. No pets or smokers please.

Quinsigamond State Park(Lake Park) is only 2 blocks away and is great for walks, jogging, tennis and also has some picnic tables under a covered pavilion on the south side of the park.

"The Grid" located downtown is only 3 miles away and is a newly renovated area that includes a big common behind City Hall with green space, an oval which is sometimes used for events including roller skating or ice skating in the winter. The adjacent streets include several eateries, shops, the public library and is in walking distance to the Canal District, the DCU Convention Center, the Palladium event venue, Hanover Theater, the and Shrewsbury St.

The Canal District is less than 3 miles away and has many dining and bar options including an indoor farmers market! The Polar Park stadium is also in that area which is the home of the WooSox(Red Sox minor league team).

Shrewsbury street is only a few miles away and has many dining and bar options.

Lakeway Commons is the newest plaza out of three grouped together only a few miles from the house. Lots of eateries and shops including Whole Foods, Tavern on the Square which has a nice open air patio, Burton's, Starbucks and more!
The second plaza is Quinsigamond Plaza which includes Trader Joe's, Total Wine, Chipotle, Verizon, FedEx, Vitamin Shoppe, Gerardos' Bakery and more!
The 3rd is White City which includes Jimmy's Restaurant, Osaka Japanese Restaurant, Chum Lee's Chinese Restaurant, Shaws, Austin Liquors, Five Guys, Papa Gino's, Ihop, KFC, Firestone, Planet Fitness, Elements Massage, Pho Sure Restaurant, J (dry)Cleaners, UPS store, Honey Farms, Dunkin Donuts, B.Good and more!

My personal favorites eateries:
Italian - Mare e Monti on Wall St.
Tapas - Bocado on Winter St.
Seafood - The Sole Proprietor on Highland St.
Mexican [casual/quick (tacos, etc)] - Patron on Harding St. & Tacos Mexico on Park Ave
Mexican Restaurant - Cancun's in Grafton(town)
Steak house - 111 Chop House on Shrewsbury St
Brazilian(great meats!) - Terra Brasilis in Shrewsbury(town) or Pampa's Churrascaria on E Central St
Sushi - Babas on Park Ave
Japanese(hibachi) - Sawa in Shrewsbury(town) or Osaka also in Shrewsbury
Standard fare - The Mercantile downtown, the Flying Rhino on Shrewsbury St and Peppercorns on Park Ave
