    "having grown up in palisades, and on century road, i can say it is the perfect combination of suburbs and country. it's exclusive, quiet, charming, but filled with life and interesting people. the schools are great - my sister and i both went public and both went ivy league - and since we've grown the schools are even better. the proximity to manhattan makes it easy to pop in and out. great shopping in north bergen county, and great restaurants in piermont and nyack. it's really an idyllic place to live and raise children. century road, in particular, is its own private enclave. everyone has lived on the street for at least 20 years! walking distance to the famous celebrity filled sneden's landing. it's a really special jewel of a town and a street. love this house!! "
