Sarcoxie is a community who cares for it's youth. Many school officials, teachers, and coaches are involved in more than one community development role. Churches and organizations the area assist with various real-world preparedness education opportunities. There are incredible amounts of extra-curricular activities for the district's size. The district provides breakfast and after-school snacks for hungry students reguardless of income. There are so many employees of Sarcoxie's district that go above and beyond to make the school a place where kids want to be, because the sad reality for some is that home isn't a place where they want to be.

This school values soft skills along with high academic skills.
