Bayside was not a fun experience. There were certain kids who were mean, and the school did nothing about it. There was never any homework, maybe a couple math problems here and there, but homework was uncommon. When it comes to teachers it depends on who the teacher is. Very few teachers are supportive. They seemed quiet distant from students. I never had any type of connection to any of the teachers there. (I was and still am very close to my teachers from the school I went to before I went here and returned to.)-A former student

Bathrooms closed due to kids smoking, vaping, etc. One bathroom open on upper level because of this. My child walked into the restroom one day and the dispenser was on fire. The staff did not help my child when there was extreme bullying going on. Because my child didn't fit the cookie cutter image of classmates, there were groups of students who would single my child out, trying to get my child in trouble making false complaints to the counselors office. I had to get the administration and school board involved. The best part of this school was leaving. Do your research, there is A LOT that gets swept under the rug.

Caring and effective teachers, in a clean and safe environment..I couldn't be happier with my children's education!

Lots of bullying. My child was the focus from a couple kids who were not held acceptable. From 6-8th grade All 3 years. He was hit on the bus. Knocked down in the halls. Lots of favoritism. The "favored" kids constantly made jokes and slurs about Jewish people, which was extremely upsetting. When my child would ask for help and avoid engaging with the bullying, there was zero concern. One teacher through a desk across the room when he was angry with the class. Tenure prevented any accountability to the teacher. Another teacher was constantly on my child while others would antagonize and provoke with no repercussions. DO BETTER!
