Hi, up for rent is our Carver Beach "cottage" home. Located in a very quiet Chanhassen neighborhood, the house is in a great location--a block from Lotus Lake and down the road from Excelsior. The house is on a wooded lot, with lots of nature and very little traffic.

The cottage has lots of charm. It has two levels, both finished. Recently we updated the unit with new appliances, flooring and paint, both inside and out.

On the main level there is a bedroom off of the entryway with windows and a skylight. The large kitchen has an open design and is part of the great room, which includes the dining area and family room, with a wall of windows overlooking. The western view includes the wooded lot and great sunsets. This great room has 15' vaulted tongue and grooved wood ceilings and a stone faced wood-burning fireplace.

The kitchen is equipped with a new stainless steel refrigerator, new stove, microwave, dishwasher, double sink with disposal and reverse osmosis water system. There is a full bath just off the kitchen with tub/shower and vanity.

Just off of the Great room is a den/office/study with skylight, closet and windows. This room has been used as an extra bedroom too. Beyond this den area is the garage access door.

The lower level has a large laundry room with newer washer and dryer. There are many cabinets for storage as well as storage closets. The room also has a deep wash tub and fold-out ironing board. Off of the laundry is the mechanical room, which houses the central heat and air conditioning unit, water softener, and even a whole-house fresh air system.

Down the hall in the lower level is a bedroom and closet, another full bath with a large soaking tub and separate shower. The master bedroom is next. Here there are beautiful views and window treatments as well.

The garage is an oversized with 410 square feet. There is enough room for two cars and more. There are painted epoxy floors, a large shop area, it is insulated, sheet rocked and it is heated! The pull-down attic stairs leads to a storage area above the garage.

There is a large wood deck outside the entry way that is great for BBQ's and outside dining.

The house is ideal for a family or is great if you're working--it is 4 minutes away from Byerly's, Target, restaurants, Lakewinds Coop, Lifetime fitness. Eden Prairie mall is 10-12 minutes away, The Arboretum is also very close. Lotus Lake is a block away and there are walking and biking paths. Excelsior is 5 minutes away, just down Powers Blvd. Airport is 30 minutes away, Downtown Minneapolis 30 minutes, 20 minutes to Ridgedale or Southdale.

If you have students living with you, the school district is Minnetonka, so your children will attend the Minnetonka High School.

The house is well-kept and is owned by a family, not a rental management company
