Siding was replaced on the South exterior wall. Property could be included in Castleton Colonial Days. There's a front entryway with a historic curved staircase, which was the first carved by Thomas Dake. A new concrete foundation was added, prior to seller purchasing in 2018. Interior was completely renovated when new foundation was installed (except for entry room with spiral staircase). There's a side deck and property is located in the outskirts of Castleton with village and country views. This is a beautiful upgraded property that would make a wonderful primary residence or potential rental. Close to Vermont State College, Lake Bomoseen, skiing, Rutland, NY and Village of Castleton.
