Calaveras High is lowkey a mess. The school feels super outdated — like, they seriously need to upgrade everything from the classrooms to the sports fields. It’s kinda embarrassing how run down it is. You walk in and it’s like they just stopped trying.The academics? Meh. There’s a few AP classes, but overall it’s not really challenging. If you're trying to get prepared for college or anything after high school, don’t expect much. The curriculum feels like it’s stuck in 2010, and they don’t really offer any cool or unique electives that could actually help you stand out.The extracurriculars are kinda weak too. You got the basics like sports and clubs, but nothing that’s gonna make you hype. If you’re into something specific, good luck — there’s not a lot of options, and they’re not the best quality either. It’s like they’re just going through the motions instead of offering stuff that actually interests people.Overall, Calaveras High is kinda just there. It doesn’t push you to do better, and it definitely doesn’t have the resources or opportunities you need to succeed. If you’re looking to level up, this isn’t the place.

This school is lacking in alot of areas the grounds and campus need a major over hall , the school also has short staffing and the employees are over worked and under paid half of them have unhappy looks vibe and energy in my 7yrs experience my son has had two teachers walk out in the kids leaving them totally lost one teacher used profanity and yelling during class and over school zoom classes during covid 3grade then 5 grade a teacher up and left over a weekend without saying anything I hope to enlighten everyone about my experiences they are loosing there grips as a hole they seem to care more about attendants then care kindness an education they will threaten you if your child is late or absent yet the school busses are a constant issue late don't show or won't let kids on if there parents haven't paid up front I actually attended a meeting for my child's absences witch ironically they where 40 min late to our meeting this school has lack of help lack of funds and lack of responsibility for there own actions leads me to tell you avoid this place like the plage ..On the up side we have had some of the best teachers as well shot out to [k]Ms Miller [1/2grade]ms koppers [6] ms Kingston some of the teachers in the special education have hearts of gold .. your child's fate ends up in the classroom they receive be active in the classroom. To in sure your child's environment is safe
