8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love, love, love this school! All the teachers which my now Senior had were exceptional ! They offer a lot of AP classes, French, Latin and Spanish , which I find amazing for a "rural" town like Owensboro and they offer College Classes! Overall, my kid enjoyed his time at this school and the most important, he felt safe! There will always kids that take the wrong path in life, but I have to say that I got the impression that this school is handling it well! I strongly agree with the rating! we have lived in bigger cities and I am glad we moved here so our kid could have this experience!Parent Review4y ago - Daviess County Middle School

"We’ve been here for sixteen years and our neighborhood along with the city is family friendly. There is a green belt around the city for walking or bike riding that connects at several locations for easy access. The playgrounds and parks are throughout including sports parts and a new dog park. You feel safe just about everywhere and can get anyplace in about ten minutes using the bypass. We have a new hospital and healthcare is good in this area and there is a variety of religious opportunities. Schools are excellent and local colleges offer just about any occupation our children want to explore. We feel very lucky to have been raised in Owensboro and to live in the newer neighborhood that we have called home for so long. "
