I heard so many good things about this school and was excited when my son got in for kindergarten. But that all changed when we toured the school in the spring time. My son is autistic and they know this but throughout the tour they kept looking at my son weird when he would get excited. Also when I told them we are working really hard on potty training and we’re almost there, they said it was fine but the tone of her voice and the eye roll said otherwise. I wouldn’t recommend this school for special needs kids

Greenbriar Middle School was one of the most suffocating and disappointing experiences of my life. When you open up to a counselor about something personal, you expect privacy — but instead, it somehow spreads to teachers, like your trust means nothing. I went there about two years ago, and honestly, it was horrible. Maybe some students had a great time, but for me and others, it felt like we were trapped in a place that didn’t care. Some teachers were kind, sure, but many were rude, disrespectful, and loved to yell instead of help. I’ll never forget the day I was stressed and just zoned out trying to focus — and a teacher mocked me in front of everyone, laughing at me for staring at the board. That moment broke me. I snapped because I was tired of being treated like a joke. What’s worse is that teachers protect each other, so no one ever faces consequences. And the favoritism — the way adults believe teachers over students — it’s exhausting and unfair. As a Hispanic student, I also faced racism and constant judgment from classmates — for my looks, my weight, even the smallest things. It felt like no matter what I did, I wasn’t enough. This school crushed my confidence, and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. I truly hope things have changed, but I would never recommend sending a child there. It’s just not worth the pain.

Not anything special but pretty good overall.
