Bullying is continuous with the same kids and it is not handled effectively. Overall teachers are kind and go above and beyond for the most part.Tons of activities with music, art, and sports.A lot of opportunities of succes, but also the constant bullying isnt helpful. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTaught here for a number of years. Moved my own kids to Orange County because I didn't want them attending here. The administration was just horrible. The whole district is more worried about their reputation, looking good and garnering awards from no name organizations. The administration will post rules and policies but are no where to be found enforcing them. Long Beach does not seem to get rid of bad principals either. Instead they just shuffle them around to other sites. A colleague of mine called this the "dance of the lemons."Teacher Review1y ago
