7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a grandparent who visits regularly, often on Fridays when you can attend for lunch with a child. This school has a broad spectrum of students, with an experienced faculty. Thus far, my grandson seems to have benefitted from that faculty and the general atmosphere which seems in all respects to be caring, respectful and responsible. I have witnessed no bullying or other negative behavior during lunch time, children seem to interact freely and in a very friendly and accepting matter, and there is always someone watching over them. Teaching is an exhausting job, and I appreciate the effort involved. The support staff is also uniformly friendly and respectful to both adults and children. Overall, I would as a retired professional give this school good marks. I have seen nothing significant which would raise any red flags. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExtremely Disappointed – Serious Safety and Mental Health ConcernsThis school has been an absolute nightmare for our family. Shockingly, the teachers are often the first to bully and humiliate students, setting a terrible example and creating a toxic environment. The student body follows suit—bullying is rampant, and physical altercations happen far too often. What’s worse, the school fails to notify parents even when their child has been physically attacked. Do not expect a phone call or any accountability.Fights break out frequently, and many teachers seem unwilling to intervene or break them up. It feels like the staff has become completely desensitized to violence and student suffering. The administration talks a lot about mental health, but their actions show little care for students’ well-being. The fact that they have suicide hotline posters everywhere is telling—but it’s no substitute for real support or prevention.This is the worst school experience we’ve ever had. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school pick and choose who they allow to bully and get away with it. If you’re black or mixed race please have your kids in self defense classes. They will do everything to cover their behinds. The white lids feel privilege and think they can bully the 9th grade black kids. The principal has her favorites and you best believe she will tear your kids as if they were wrong even when they defend themselves from the bullies that come to your kids classrooms or follow them to their classroom and make threats. 10 to 12 white boys from this school came to my neighborhood to jump my sons whom are mixed race.y boy had to defend himself because they wasn’t going to stop until he do. The bullies were 16, 17 and 18 that bullied my 15 years old sons. This school is full of racist bullies.Parent Review2mo ago
