School administration is stuck in their ways refusing to go beyond what’s easy and convenient for them. They have adopted a bullying culture due to their constant blind eyes. Most teachers are great. However, a lot teachers do the bare minimum similar to the administration. They care more about themselves what’s convenient for them then school and student safety and learning. The building needs a culture overhaul.

My son just started college and is excelling there after his 4 years at Grosse Pointe South. What he learned in high school in terms of not only studies, but also friendship, interaction and self-confidence has more than prepared him for advanced education. Grosse Pointe South is a special mix of progressive curriculum and social education with the right amount of traditional charm and history. This public school upholds high standards while staying up to date with curriculum and striving to be progressive socially and future-ready.

I’ve had 3 kids go through Richard and all have had wonderful experiences. Class size can get a little large but I recommend anyone who moves to the area to send their kids to Richard.
