About this House

New Room Alert
Available Now!

Hi! I'm looking for someone to fill the fifth bedroom in our spacious 5bed, 2bath apartment in Newton (directly adjacent Watertown). The room is 200sqft and goes for $995/mo, all utilities included and furnished with a queen bed and dressers.

This is a month-to-month sublet (we are ideally looking for a 9-12 month minimum commitment) through the end of the year with the option to keep subletting after that if we are all compatible. You would be living with four working male professionals who work in tech and finance, and We are all very clean, quiet, and respectful of one another, and we all get along very well/do things together on the weekends.

A couple amenities of the apartment:
-directly across from the Charles River and adjacent running/bike path
-lots of different cuisine options between Newton and Watertown -plenty of easy public transit options, and pretty equidistant to most other neighborhoods (only 10-15min to Boston!)
-free, no-permit street parking
-massive backyard currently being converted into a wildflower and vegetable garden -very charming, quiet neighborhood with lots of trees -spacious, 2-floor apartment with large living room and lots of natural light -free in-unit washer + dryer

If you are looking for a beautiful living arrangement AND for a sense of community within your home, this is the place for you!

"It’s perfect Thor a single or for a family! Such great stuff here! Feels like s city, and a suburb. Walk to bars or playgrounds easily "
  • Burnimday
"Love all that it has to offer. Restaurant, shopping, post office, bank, bakery, churches, walks along the river. "
  • Marie P.
"Newton is an excellent city to live in. Because its a large city (85K population) it has a large offering of amenities for all types of residents from an excellent public library, senior housing and activities/transportation, and excellent schools. But yet it is divided into 13 villages so you never feel like you're in a large city. You get the suburban feel with the urban amenities only 5 miles to Boston. Public transportation is excellent with bus, rail, and subway throughout. I've been living here since 1991 and working as an agent for 14 years. Would be happy to discuss details with any prospective residents..."
  • Sam C.
"This is a great part of Newton- hidden gem. 10 minutes to Cambridge, Brookline and Boston. Safe. Quiet."
