Description
Quietly hidden away on the top floor of Guernsey Hall, a converted 1854 Italianate stone mansion, is a Princeton pied-a terre like no other. You’ll be greeted each morning by magical light streaming through the grand domed ceiling over the building’s main staircase as you make your way outside, perhaps for a visit to Marquand Park before heading into town. Back home, relax on one of the two private balconies perched high above the property’s magnificent, well-tended grounds. The condo’s interior is freshly renovated with a brand new, fully equipped kitchen that merges modern style and traditional warmth by combining streamlined cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, textured wallpaper and custom louvered shutters. A folding table maximizes every last inch. The bathroom includes new features and is larger than expected with plenty of counter space at the marble vanity. A skylight sheds sunshine down on both a cozy study and the bedroom. Wrapped in tall, arched windows and crowned with a high ceiling adorned with sculptural lighting, the living room is a jewel of a space occupying the highest point of the mansion’s tower. Guests will be thrilled to spend an intimate evening steeped in the history of a by-gone era, while dedicated parking, secure storage and on-site laundry tick all an owner’s must-have boxes. Some of the photos include virtual staging. Elevator available for floors basement thru floor two. Based on '23 tax rate, taxes would be 7,122.16.

"It’s good. Kids are friendly and most at people are ok. Some are a bit strange here but that can be entertaining. All in all it’s a pretty fun solid place to live and visit. "

"To get to bus station is a long , over populated area and the majority of people walk but a lot of cars in a very over populated and mixture of all kinds of people. Some very nice, and some very rude and feel they own the streets! I really hate Princeton and don’t recommend it. To get to train station is now a drive and to The Dinky is a longer walk than bus stop. And everything costs money, they built decks to make money and they also make you get permits to park. I was blessed enough to have a driveway where I was, but all in all: I rate it a good=25 & bad=75%-NOT VERY GOOD! Must rate Police & EMT IS A GOOD-100% -very fair and also courts are fair majority of time"
