Peachtree Elementary is an ib (International Baccalaureate) school, the only public elementary school in the area that sets students on this most rigorous path to being a life-long learner. The school offers many community programs throughout the year.The community is a healthy mix of homeowners and renters in the high-income Peachtree Corners area of metro Atlanta. The school is a PBIS school of distinction, the highest level of achievement in this positive discipline program. Even when kids mess up, they are treated with dignity, respect, and the loving belief that they can and will do better. Students leave this school prepared for real success in middle and high school.There is community tension between this public elementary school and another public elementary school, but the majority of those who dislike Peachtree have not seen the school or the students in over a decade.
