"Where I live (Port Tampa area) is rapidly developing and we are getting some pretty decent neighbors moving in, however the gentrification “factor” is a tad frustrating and overwhelming."

"I used public transportation and bus schedule is far but buses are clean and empty. now i have car and traffic is growing. westshore blvd is without a doubt the worst at the gandy intersection. "

"We have enjoyed the area for the last 12 years and have found it to be a great area to raise out kids. We can easily get to downtown or head West to the beaches.."

"I love that it is such a lovely mix of human beings, in a safe and neighborly environment. A wide variety of ages, socioeconomic situations, races, and belief systems are represented here, which is so refreshing! Though we have to move soon, we would likely have stayed given the opportunity."

"We just moved to this neighborhood but I have worked here for 4 years. It is a quiet, well-established neighborhood with a lot of families that have lived here for multiple generations."
- Laoharrah

"I live here and work nearby at Mac Dill AFB. This location has excellent access to downtown sporting events and performing arts, excellent access to West Shore shopping and dining areas, quick trip to the Intl Airport, and excellent access to the Gandy Bridge to beaches. "

"I used to live and work in this South Tampa neighborhood near Interbay / Manhattan. The neighborhood is a very safe place to live. The neighborhood is quiet day and night. The neighbors, including the school-age children are friendly and respectful. You can leave your potted plants and patio furniture on the front porch and your property will be untouched. The neighborhood is very pet-friendly. There are sidewalks on many streets for safe walking. The large shade trees provide an established neighborhood."
