"Batesburg-Leesville has Friendly neighbors with a caring small time town feel and a love for animals. It’s a wonderful family town that values dogs as best friends in the lives of their families. This neighborhood is mindful of one another’s property and shows respect by dog owners picking up after their pets and having the consideration of walking their pets on leashes. "

"I've lived here for almost three years. There's no public transportation. Everyone stays to theirselves around here. All or majority of the businesses have moved to Leesville. Batesburg SC is like a ghost town now. I'm ready to move back to Columbia SC. "
