  • John Reed
"I’ve lived here for 7 years now, and I genuinely enjoy it—it’s become a comfortable, welcoming place for me.!! "
  • Andre Alexander
"Nothing unique about Manor, it’s like any other place. New places being such as grocery stores, restaurants, and other businesses."
  • Takiah Jones
"My commute isn’t too bad because I work close but it can be a headache for those who have to go into Austin regularly. Traffic on the main road in and out of Manor is pretty bad during peak times."
  • Manor Resident
"I’ve lived here for about 10 years. Many neighbors have come and gone throughout the years. I’ve always felt safe and comfortable here. "
  • Jonessar0
"Dogs without leash. Repeated lost dogs. Poop in yard. Presidential is awful and HOA doesn’t keep it up to date or make it nicer. "
  • Kristopher Hankins
"There are craft fairs, city events, American Legion events all within 2 miles. We have lived here two decades and watched it grow from a tiny farm town to the place everyone is moving to. "
  • Ravi G.
"Manor may not have lot of shopping, malls or fancy eating places, but you breathe lot easy here. No pollution, noise, honking cars or traffic jams. Lot of new residential contraction is coming up here and is perfect place to raise the kids and family. People pay three times to live in broken houses built in 50s in Austin when you can get newly built house here in Manor."
  • Trulia User
"Many families here, school system is now great. Lots of home decor for holidays which is very entertaining. Tennis courts available close to the middle school all year long, same thing for soccer fields or basketball courts. The city is also very diverse and is starting to have more and more businesses opening. "
  • John K.
"It is a nice quiet neighborhood and much better than most neighborhoods I've lived in since moving to Austin. People are friendly but respectful of your privacy. There are lots of family, kids, and BBQ events here. People are also very helpful when you need it! "
  • Jerah A. G.
"Not many dog parks, but other than that it seems to be a nice place since we have many sidewalks. "
  • Rob B.
"I've walked my dog for 13 years in this neighborhood. Always see at least a few others each time we go out. "
  • Jerah A. G.
"No dog parks, or open spaces that are not near major streets. "
  • Timtimscott44
"You will always see people walking their dogs in the neighborhood and animals are definitely welcomed. Also the neighborhood comes together if you ever lose your animal"
  • Mary R.
"Nice and neighborly! Everyone looks out for one another and it’s really quiet in my neighborhood. I never worry about anything because my neighbors have my back."
  • Mary R.
"Traffic is really bad here but I believe the mayor is working to make it better sometimes it takes 30 minutes to get out of this Siri it’s because he’s growing so fast and has not expanded the roads to be able to support the growing community"
  • Alma L.
"So peaceful , i haven't experience any issue in my community , I feel safe and neighbors are so friendly so far "
  • Brad
"There isn't much to do in the Manor area. Any fine dining, or entertainment will have to be found closer to Austin. The city is rapidly growing, so traffic, and crime is on the rise. Manor is a relatively quiet, and safe place to live. "
  • Trulia User
"Just need to be careful and prepared. Lots of pit bulls. On my first walk in the neighborhood with my dog had a pit come after me. Luckily I had defense and the owner came and grabbed it. "
  • Betty H.
"I heard the school district is not the greatest. There seem to be issues with bullying and nothing is being done about it."
  • Alisha W.
"ShadowGlen is a great neighborhood. I would stay here forever if I didn’t get fined for parking in the street! "
  • Terryn S.
"I think this neighborhood is really awkward to get to. it's literally like right outside the city, but the access to actually get in here is so chopped up and backwards it takes forever regardless of traffic"
  • Alisha W.
"No parks nearby. Yards are extremely small. Houses are so close that my backyard smells like dog excrement constantly, even though I do not have a dog. "
  • Sandra L. L.
"Family and pet friendly. We have lots of people who really care about making this a good place to live. "
  • Meaganmango
"Quiet, friendly, there's a pool for the summers. There's also a park and frequent garage/yard sales "
