10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI met with the assistant principal for a tour of the school and to have my questions answered. I could clearly see what some of the parents are saying here with regards to lack of sensitivity. She was very rude and disrespectful. I had to check her by saying "I thought I would be asking the questions". She made no effort to understand my priorities, and when I finally got a few words in edge wise, she did not have the answers for me. I asked if I could meet with a teacher another day that could answer the specifics of the classroom, and it was a stern no. If this is how day one is with a grown up, I surely won't throw my little ones into this!Other Review8y ago - Rye High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOne of the most run-of-the-mill high schools. Leaders keep changing. Most academic programs are mediocre, some sports teams are good, very little support for special needs children. Be prepared to sue the school district to get accommodations. Also, if diversity matters to you, this is an all-white school staff and a pretty white town.Parent Review1y ago - Rye Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI honestly didn't like this school at all. I have to deal with rude people who make stupid and ignorant jokes. New kids often feel the pressure of being the perfect "rye child". Which is not for everyone.Other Review9y ago - Check out schools near 66 Central Avenue.
