The school administration is aloof and unapproachable. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHow do you justify the rating for this school? Where do you even get your info to base your score on? My niece and nephew can barely read but have a diploma. 98% of my sons friends can not even spell the simplest of words. My own son took algebra 1 , geometry, algebra 2 and got A's in all 3 but when he took the math placement at the local community college he tested into Math 104.....110 is college entry level. He took 4 years of Spanish ( 3&4 being honors level).. He can't speak a word or even conjugate verbs( span 1). Herded through like cattle.Parent Review10y ago - Dee-Mack Primary/Jr High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am glad I sent my daughter to this small school as opposed to Morton, where I went. She had lots of opportunities to do many different things that you just can't do in a large school. She did quite well in high school and the same in college, so it seems consistent. I think a lot depends on how involved you encourage your child to be. It's all there for the taking. I believe all kids think they are unhappy in school. Even my daughter thought that. But after 7 years of college, she looks back and says that they were happy years. It's just a very emotional time in a child's life and difficult for teachers to deal with. Teachers are the same everywhere. There were good and bad. But this school provides a safer and happier atmosphere than most schools. Talk to the administration, faculty or even students. Go to some of the events. Some things are better than others.
