About this House

A very nice 3 bedrooms, 2-bath home will be available on October 31, 2025 or sooner in the Norris/Fruitvale area. This 1365 sq. foot house sits at the top of a cul-de-sac on 0.25 acres and is zoned for large animals.

The house was fully renovated in 2018 and we are in the process of doing some minor repairs and touch-up painting as well as redoing the landscaping in the front yard.

There is an attached 2-car garage with a remote control opener, workbenches, and storage already in place. The driveway can easily park 2 cars in addition to the one or two in the garage. The house has a high-efficiency HVAC system and we added more insulation to the attic and put in an attic fan to help keep the utilities down. There are laundry hookups in the house just off the kitchen. A rear patio provides a nice shaded sitting area for you to watch your young children play in the backyard. The windows are double pane, high E glass that will help keep the house cool on those hot summer days. If you happen to be a carnivore you will really enjoy the built-in deep pit BBQ in the backyard. It has a cover for safety but is easily removed.

At the front of the house, there is a large family room with a wood-burning fireplace. The kitchen includes a gas stove, prep area, dishwasher, lots of cabinets with pull-out drawers, and a built-in microwave area. At one end of the kitchen, there is enough room for a 4-person kitchen table that looks into the backyard via a sliding door. The hall that leads to the bedrooms has ample linen closets and a coat closet.

There is ample parking for your RV, boat, or horse trailer in the paved area behind a set of double gates. In the winter you can enjoy the sweetest Oranges and Tangerines I have ever tasted. In addition, you can pucker your lips around some great Lemons and Grapefruit that grow on trees in the yard.

The house is near Fruitvale Ave and Norris Rd. A 1-year lease at $2,215/month. The deposit will be $2,215.

Requirements: All persons over 18 must sign the contract and complete a credit and rental history check.

The local schools are some of the best in Bakersfield to really prepare your child to be college-bound - it gives them and you a choice for their future.
