I am not going to say that all of the teachers/administrators are bad. There are a few that I have met that are great. I can count on one hand. The classrooms are 20 to 23 to 1 ratio. Teachers are exhausted and really need to change schools for a break. This school and working with staff is challenging. Attitudes, mood swings, disrespect should not be a part of your daily when you know and understand what your job is. Children with special needs are discriminated against, unless they are on meds that zone them out. Then they like you. I have had to change my son with 4 teachers, since he has been at McGarrah. Thank God we were able to go to Tara as a placement, but now we are back, after 2 years and it has not gotten any better. Will be seeking placement to return to our placed school that progressed him wonderfully, (Tara Elementary). I refuse to let teachers who signed up for their jobs to not do it. Filing is my friend and getting administrators involved is the key.

I've been to the school before, and it's really not the best.The teacher's mostly sometimes cuss out students, and they made his new policy to where my daughter, who goes to this school, says that if the teacher wants they can confiscate the phone for over two weeks.That's caused stealing and a parent can easily sue for that.In my opinion, cuz I know if someone took my daughter's phone for over two weeks I would.Immediately sue the school, the parent and the board cause.That's just not allowed.You're not going to take my daughter's phone for over key word Over. Two weeks and think you can get away from it.Also to me, the school is just disgusting dirty.I remember when I went there.There was roaches my daughter says there's bugs everywhere.The a c is not working for what my daughter says.And i've been in this school more than once.The a c is not working and the food is the same thing.Almost every day, it's either this weird, nasty pizza or some other mixed pasta or chicken or cheese sticks.And it's honestly just really nasty.I know they're doing it for the nutritional thing.But at least make the food a little better.And also, why can't the students go to the vending machine?During lunch, some students may not want to eat whatever they're serving in the cafeteria, some of them might just want a bag of chips or a.Soda, why are they forced to have to eat that food?When we all know that food is nasty, that's just my little rant, my little opinion. :)

Amazing school so farMy cousin and Best friend attends herethey say it’s a well put school.Teachers actually give education, and care about their students!You always get to pick a performing art. I’ve came here for a science fair and won 2nd place aswell.My bestfriend truly has a great time here, i love hearing her speak about her day, same goes for my cousin.I was supposed to attend here, but hopefully i’ll be attending next year and i won’t be homeschooled no more.Great school, i’ve also visited all cleanliness.
