This year there is a rule requiring clear backpacks, and I did bring one—but it broke. I only have 2 months left before I graduate, so why should I have to buy a new one? I don’t even have anyone to help me get one.When I brought my bag to school, both the AP and the AP secretary saw it and didn’t say anything. Even during random classroom checks, no one said anything. But suddenly today, during a random bus backpack check, they said my bag was too big. What is going on?And then they told me that at the end of the day (around 2:35–3:00 PM), a parent has to come pick it up. Sorry, but not everyone has that kind of free time.

Kids get bullied there all the time and teachers and counselors don't do anything about it.

Excellent Elementary school for kids bright future

This school is very fine and has a lot of great students and teacher I made a lot of friends but also some teachers might be not as goose and nice same for some students so depends, I would recommend the school if you already had a history of bad schools but who know things might change.

Alief Taylor = Crowded. The students will carry you to your next class. Just not in five minutes. Staff: great staff members, probably the best. Teachers: easygoing and friendly, can be unorganized sometimes. Classes: Non-intensive work. Not easy to find rooms Sports: very well done Students: student body (can) be obnoxious and misbehaved Lunch: Not well suited for highschool level. Conclusion: ok school with little to no gang violence. Sometimes you feel like your not in the right grade. Needs more seniors in the classroom. Lunch needs to be upgraded for highschool students. Better and more organized. Variety of food, and costly choices needs to be provided.

Pésima experiencia, los niños en lugar de ser guiados, acompañados en su proceso de pre adolescencia son reprimidos, expuestos a las burlas de los compañeros y bullying que hace la misma maestra Rivera, el colegio tampoco presta atención a los requerimientos de los padres apoyando a su personal.

AECHS is like no other. You will never find another principal like Dr. Brotherton. We are family and I am forever thankful for the opportunities that AECHS provides.

This school is generally very good, although there are some teachers (1-2) that don't support students well when asking for help-- the opposite of the environment a teacher should create.
