"Dogs owners would like all of the sidewalks where they can walk their dogs straight to the park. Also, everyone around here are very kind to dogs. One thing that dog owners might not like is that there are a noticeable amount of dogs running loose, so be careful."

  • Linda
"Great area to raise a family. Just far enough from the hustle and bustle of big city life, with all the amenities and none of the traffic. Great schools and community feel. I've lived here for 14 yrs and love the area!"
  • Tfranky001
"This was one of the best areas. No problems walking the dogs or running whenever I wanted. Children did not play in the street or run through your yard; just a great nieghborhood!"
  • Sugarcube1973
"I lived here for almost 6 years. Very quiet and peaceful. Neighbors are very nice. "
  • Happy i. W. R.
"We moved to White Rock Estates about 3 years ago and love it here! It is so easy to get to Harker Heights shopping, the Killeen mall, or even the airport. Morning or afternoon there is almost no traffic getting to West Ft Hood (where I work). The neighbors are fantastic, and in the evenings people stroll along Rosewood with strollers, pets, friends - you name it! Speaking of pets, the new Pursar park opened right around the corner and has a dog park and frisbee golf! We are so very happy here and glad we chose this area."
