6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is quite literally the best elementary school I've ever been a part of (whether through my attendance or my children's). My 5th grade daughter was in a bad accident last year and had to have brain surgery. She missed the first two months of fourth grade. The principal, Mrs. Robinson, was with us every step of the way, making sure we had the resources we needed for her return to school and continuing education. Her accident caused learning difficulties and the staff has been nothing but compassionate, helpful, and efficient. I couldn't ask for a better group of educators around my daughters. It's truly made a huge difference.Parent Review5y ago - Western Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is an ok school at best. The biggest problem at this school is bullying. The staff does zero to stop it. I have a kid who loves to learn but hates school because of bullies. Obviously the family life for these bullies is not up to par, but that’s not an excuse for the staff to do nothing. Just implement an anti bullying policy and ENFORCE it. You bully, you get suspended for a month. You do it again, suspended indefinitely. Pretty simple.Parent Review1y ago - Bay City Western High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had 2 students go through the process of Western Middle School to Western High School. I cannot understand what the point of pushing these students to take all honors and AP classes so by senior year they have 1 or maybe 2 classes left. They are all so stressed out sophomore and junior years. It is just not worth it. I feel because of the immense pressure to be in these advance courses, that the students miss out on any fun or social development during their senior year. They are so very stressed and it is terrible for their mental health. And for what? to be done with all of their credits early? It's a terrible time to be a student. I hope someone in leadership reads this and remembers their high school experience and just how ridiculous it is today for these kids.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 6385 Golf Poin.

"There are many nice parks and family events to attend throughout the year. A lot of the schools are within walking distance from where you live. A word of caution, a lot of people do NOT leash their dogs in Bay City and there are a lot of dogs allowed to run loose. I do like the fact that cats must be licensed, the same as dogs. It cuts down on the number of stray cats in the city. "
