But I will say this: I don't think the teachers are to blame for the poor quality of this school. Yes, there are some teachers who seem to actively work against students, but the majority of them are trying their best. The students, administration, and culture of the school, however... 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI just came across this site and couldn't resist. Our family has been in 3 different states in the last 7 years, AZ, TX, and UT. Hobble Creek Elementary has given us a feeling of 'home'. Mr. Johnson, the Principal, is an ace. He knows kids names, he knows parents, HE SMILES and lifts, he watches the busses pick up the kids, he comes to performances and makes the kids feel great... I could go on all day, but I don't want to shortchange the teachers and staff. Sending our kids to Hobble Creek is a joy because they are taught well and treated kindly.
