The unit features original hardwood floors, crown molding, updated windows, and a huge walk-in closet. Internet options are Sonic (fiber optic) or Comcast. Monthly rent is $2100.

The building has 18 units and is located on Dover Street off Alcatraz between Shattuck and Adeline in North Oakland (South Berkeley border). Nearby points of interest are: Ashby BART 0.5 mi, Berkeley Bowl 1.0 mi, and UC Berkeley 2.0 mi. There is a secure lobby on the first floor of the building. Units are located on the second, third, and fourth floors (this unit is on the fourth/top floor). The building features a shared laundry room located in the basement with two washers and two dryers, which can be operated with an app (no need for coins). Building manager lives on-site.

Owners pay water, sewer, and garbage. Tenant is responsible for all other utilities (PG&E and internet). Street parking only. There is secure bike storage available for an extra fee of $10/month. The backyard has a community grill and two raised planter beds available for tenants' shared use.

12-month lease only. This is a smoke-free and pet-free building.

Income requirements: 2.5x monthly rent. Credit requirements: 750+.

The deposit is one month's rent + first month's rent. In other words, the total deposit is 2x monthly rent. Rent is prorated on the 2nd month and returns to the regular monthly amount on the 3rd month.
