We had six wonderful years at Joaquin Miller. The teachers, staff, principal were all top notch. Incredible PTA and fundraising efforts help make this school what it is. The CSM is a fantastic human, as well. My kid felt at home here and felt safe, supported, and encouraged. There were a few bumps in the road during online learning, but that was to be expected. Would recommend this school for families who want a diverse community of kids with active parent involvement and quality, caring teachers.

I would absolutely not recommend this school for any parent who cares about the safety of their child or their education. This place is disruptive and the teachers do not help at all. Restorative justice is the issue in America. We should go back to traditional education instructions.

Skyline has provided my student with challenging classes and very supportive teachers and staff. From what I've seen and experienced, teachers take a strong interest in students and really want them to succeed. There are so many clubs, sports and student activities for students to choose from. The track and field and cross country programs in particular are heavily invested in and are some of the best high school athletic programs I've seen. There are innumerable resources and opportunities if your student is willing and able to go after them.
