Very positive, high values, diverse, and excellent academic standards

We 3 kids who have attended this school. Our time is more than halfway done. As a parent, I typically do not read reviews of a school from someone who simply works there. I would say this school excels at academics. Over 75% of the teachers hold a master's degree! It is why I convinced a family member to also send their kids there. Teachers are HIGHLY engaged and truly care about students. The Principla has been there over 10 years and is phenomenal in My opinion. She is diplomatic and makes sure everyone feels welcome. The downside of this school in My opinion having had kids at other elementary schools in the area, would definately be the the parent drama. There are a decent amount of parents who seem to want to turn it into a private school, when it is simply not. Jockeying for their kids social status at a very young age. Seems unhealthy. But if You can avoid that, the academics and environment are good! I highly recommend Mason Ridge. :)

I'm a current student here (8th grade) and i transferred last year from a different school. It's not a bad school in terms of learning and accommodating kid's learning styles, but when it comes to bullying or bad behavior i feel like most of it is overlooked unless it's physical. I am personally a victim of this because I'm lesbian, and i have other friends on the LGBTQ+ spectrum that get bullied as well. However, there is little to no racism in the classes, at least to my experience. The community is very diverse and welcoming of people of any skin color. Also, certain teachers care more about your attendance and grades than your actual health (mental or physical), and won't lay off if you do one thing wrong, like getting your work done slowly. It's usually those same teachers that overwhelm students with work and have them staying up late with homework and making them tired, then blaming them for not doing their work quick enough. The schedule is based on Even and Odd days, and you only have 4 classes each day except for Wednesday when you have all 8. Lunches aren't the best but they also aren't terrible. That's all i can think of for now but i'm sure there's more problems
