"I work from home therefore I have no need to commute but I have easy access to all major freeways and highways "
  • Trusclairashley
"It’s bad and needs a lot of improvement in order for this city to be safe again, we need more police and less shootings"
  • Robert B.
"Pick up after them always - but dog friendly for all homes - lots of family with dogs and a park nearby "
  • Vanessa M.
"Our neighbors are nice but people usually keep to themselves even though we’ve known them for years. Most will help you if you need anything. "
  • Trusclairashley
"We have neighborhood watch and we get together every third Sunday to discuss different things happening in the neighborhood "
  • Summ38
"Great residential area with good access to SF, the east bay, north bay, and wine country. Excellent location. "
  • Stephani S.
"vallejo is unsafe and sucks. rent is also way too high for how bad the houses are. if you're a woman, expect to get cat called at every gas station you go to. also, dont walk anywhere or let your kids walk anywhere. "
  • Janet K.
"I dont know I have lived here over 2 years I know my neighbors on both sides. one has invited us to a bbq, but I vent uncomfortable and left we have invited both neighbors top all our celebrations but they haven't attended. I feel alone in this neighborhood "
  • Brendamaciel411
"I drive and it’s just fine on the weekends but during the weekdays especially on Friday it’s absolutely horrible getting from bus to bart is ok and to commute in someone else car is really cheap and fast I recommend that way if you going drive your car I reccommand to commute toll is 6 bucks now so that’s a a lot it’s stop and go daily "
  • Tim W. G.
"Vallejo is close to everything, hour and a half from skiing 35 minutes from San Francisco, 40 minutes from Interstate 5. The breeze comes almost every night and clears the air, you can smell the ocean and see the water every time you leave the house. There are farmers markets in every town and events every weekend in one of the towns within 25 or 30 miles. "
  • Trulia User
"There is no public transportation stops in our neighborhood. But the shopping areas are only a mike or two away. You must drive to get there."
  • Jconnie52
"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 19 years. Mostly quiet and neighbors are friendly and look out for each other."
  • Vanessa M.
"It’s quite and most of my neighbors are nice. We watch out for each other’s homes. A beautiful park around the corner. Close to shopping and food. Very diverse friendly people. "
  • Jrpaschke
"If you prefer to have items stolen out of your car and an apartment management team that cares not for their residents then this is the place for you. The apartments are okay, but the area is full of crime from pedophiles to burglaries. The so-called "security" doesn't even respond when called in the middle of a car burglary. And per a letter from their legal department; the management "make(s) no warranty that the leased premises are secure from theft or any other criminal act perpetrated by another person." So a word to the wise- Do NOT move here! I wish I would have listened to others advice on that one and now I have paid dearly. "
