Guests can (and should) kick off their shoes upon entering the home, to relax and unwind. This is a shoes-free home.Although the location feels secluded, it's just a few minutes' walk to fine dining at the Carmel Highlands Hyatt, to a convenient corner market, or to hiking at spectacular Point Lobos. Comfortable couches surround a glass-topped table, and in the corner, a tall round table is a place to play games.A den off the living room offers a 42-inch HDTV and potential office space.The formal dining table has six chairs, (larger groups can add chairs from the separate kitchen table).Outside, a wraparound deck contains plenty of seating, chaise lounges and a gourmet gas grill, and is a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning, bbq's in the afternoon or a glass of wine in the eveningBedrooms and BathroomsIn this split bedroom floor plan, there are bedrooms in the wings on either end of the house.Bedroom #1 has a king bed, gas fireplace, large walk-in closet and an en suite bathroom with a soaking tub and a separate shower.Bedrooms #2 and #3 each have queen beds and they share a Jack and Jill style bathroom with a spacious vanity and a shower over tub.Bedroom #4 has a king bed and an en suite bathroom with shower over tub.Bedroom #5 is a full guest suite with a king bed, a sitting area, TV, kitchenette/breakfast bar, separate deck and entrance along with a private bath with shower-over-tub. This is a second floor studio Guest suite located above the garage and separate from the main part of the house. A very private retreat in an already private retreat.The house also has a half bath.This is a 'shoes free' home.Garage space for two vehicles is available as well as ample parking on the driveway.Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.Internet service is provided but please note that due to the remote location of this home, the internet cannot support multiple devices streaming at once and that extensive internet usage may not be well-supported.This vacation home is professionally managed by Property Manager. With over 15 years of property management experience, we strive to provide environments that nurture and inspire with all the comforts of home. The trees are hundreds of feet TALL, & pruned to be bare, stripped of mud-length branches—prehistoric in appearance. The neighbors are all isolated and hardly social. I have never gotten beyond small talk in the 3 yrs of living here. Pollen is extremely allergenic, even in me, who is not allergic. Quiet street, to a fault. "
