"pet friendly area with dog park. skyland apt charge pet dna fees but done enforce people not picking up after their pet. so still poo everywhere. but like I said dog park on property . with waste stations scattered around with bags and garbage disposal "
  • Kaitlyn E.
"It’s close to I26 and the airport. Good because of accessibility. Bad because the interstate is quite noisy, as well as the airport. "
  • V4mick
"Great dog parks around and the Arboretum is wonderful but past that not a lot of great places to walk the doggos. All main roads or narrow two lanes and no sidewalks. Arden is a pile of Walmarts and strip malls with some houses and apartments jammed in between parking lots. "
  • Cindyrose1094
"Everything is close, shopping, eating, bars, and the airport! The Parkway! Close to Asheville, Hendersonville, Fletcher and, Brevard! "
  • Sanimckenzie
"Just a good neighborhood for families or people that are single. Away from hustle and bustle but not a long drive to anything you need "
  • Tophnyc
"Its the most interesting and mountain feeling complex. Its near Duke, but its a quiet enclave. Low HOA fees. Most neighbors do a good job keeping their property up."
  • Marcela
"Asheville is a great place for dogs to make new friends and there is always a water bowl ready somewhere in downtown."
  • Cody N. T. J.
"we all look out for each other. If a dog is loose we post it on Facebook and do our best to keep the animal safe. "
  • Noah B.
"Busy and too expensive Not enough parking for all the tenants. Upkeep isn’t great and the gate has never worked. Lived here for 3 years and not happy with it"
  • Grace G Singingheart
"I've lived in this neighborhood for over 13 years. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Yet they respect your privacy. The location is convenient to everything, yet it is quiet and peaceful. Great place to call home."
  • Jane G.
"Small town feel with neighbors, friendly people, close to downtown Asheville, Hendersonville and Biltmore Park, easy access to highways. Lots of outdoor access to French Broad River and hiking on the Blue Ridge Prkwy. "

"Every Halloween or any holiday we always have festivals for your kids and family to have a good time. "
  • Tophnyc
"I have lived in this neighborhood for three and a half years. It is a friendly and rather quiet neighborhood. We are close to the Asheville Airport and Airport Road which has a number of restaurants and shopping then use."
  • Olivia H.
"great neighborhood for getting good exercise while walking due to lots of ups and downs and hills. one thing that's both good and bad is no street lights here. so it's hard to walk your dog late at night with no street lights and no sidewalks or shoulders on the room."
  • Tophnyc
"Our neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The look of this townhouse community is less cookie cutter than others in the area."
  • Debbie B.
"I walk in this neighborhood daily. Many dog owners in this neighborhood also. Traffic has increased over the years but still not too heavy "
  • Shanta B.
"The neighborhood is really friendly there are a lot of families and parks here. Everybody gets along no crimes or any violence near here or here"

"lots of families. parents and children walk the neighborhood every-day. every once in a while, you need to be wary. we have had two creepy instances since moving in where I did not feel comfortable with people stopping to try and talk to me. "
