"Dog owners would like the walk ability and tree coverage. Dog owners would not like the cracks in the sidewalk or the glass on the sidewalk on certain streets"
  • Sharonda Green-Carter
"There are many other friendly dogs in the area. Most neighbors are dog friendly. Not many dog parks though. "
  • Gemapecruz Lyrics
"It’s is beautiful the scenery and nature itself is medicine to the soul. It has character on their houses."
  • Joseph E.
"There are nice parks around the area and lots of space for dogs to play. Dogs and their owners would really enjoy the area"
  • April G.
"Community meals, food giveaways, summer food program and other events at Hands Across the Street. Carnival at Holy Trinity. Free church festivals. Free American Legion festival each summer. Cool events at the library. The Mardi Gras / Halloween Parade of course 😉"
  • Dustin E.
"Dogs are mean and they poop in everybody’s yard. The owners do not pick up the poop and when you mow your lawn well yea know "
  • Kyrstielynnwilson
"It’s A great and friendly neighborhood with lots of locals , Antiques , and history ! But sometimes it can be unpleasant and unsafe , sometimes I hear guns , fighting or , even yelling ! "
  • Ndussinger
"I am retired & work part time. Good public transportation. When I work I travel any where from 3 - 40 miles. "
  • Nicole.manos
"Lots of activities. Lots of help for families, very community oriented. A lot of history to the town, and local restaurants and shops. "
  • Millie F.
"great neighborhood. you have your typical nosey people, but not too bad! always recommend! we are looking to purchasw"
  • Millie F.
"friendly people for the most part. you have your strange people for sure though. my daughter is able to walk to and from school with ease. "
  • Hannah B.
"The area can be complicated with parking feuds if you have more than 2 cars to a house. Other than that the neighborhood is pretty calm. "
  • Christina B.
"Columbia is perfectly situated between York and Lancaster PA for easy commutes to either location! Personally, I love being close to the Susquehanna River and loads of hiking trails. Baltimore and Philly aren’t too far away for day trips to the museums or zoos. Columbia, PA is surrounded by some the best healthcare in the country. We are blessed to be very close to UPenn, Hershey, CHOP, and Johns Hopkins if you or your loved one have special healthcare needs. Amtrak is only 20 minutes away!💕"
  • A. J. N.
"Since most of the problems of bars with no class are gone, I think it's starting to improve. It's still a social issue in nearly all towns, it's still a vast improvement. "
  • Anonymous
"Other than living in town, it's a great place but expensive. High taxes and poor schools. Too much focus on tourists and not enough on fixing the community. "
  • reyna cramer
"Columbia is a great place to live if your not a parent. The cost of living keeps going up, there is nothing for kids to do, and cars are constantly being broke into."
  • Kmn
"we have two great museums and a river trail. the train display at the Columbia Historical Preservation Museum is better than Roadside America!"
  • Rebecca J.
"Free lunches for kids in the summer, lots of library activities, small businesses, and community services. Columbia also has tons of history, mainly Civil War. Great town for antiques. "
  • M.Foehlinger
"We are just seconds off of route 30, the ramp getting on and off is horrible. Around town is not bad, usually not much traffic. But if route 30 gets backed up, all of town gets backed up. "
  • Glorfullhd822
"quite place. lovely neighborhood. awesome school district and great area to families live in peace. Love it"
  • Glorfullhd822
"Love this area. the school district is the best one so far. the kids can play outside without problem and not been scare"
  • Lorien G.
"Five minutes to drive to 30. I drive down Columbia Ave and usually about traffic at all times of the day "
  • Sean c.
"There is history here and the river trail is very nice to use. Lots of close parks for kids. 462 Bridge is the worlds longest concrete multi arch bridge"
