Absolutely disappointed with this school. The Adventure side is nothing like it used to be for when it first started off. Lost all good teachers. Now it’s teachers that make a complaint about every little thing a student does. Very sensitive teachers incompetent unprofessional and all in their feelings. And sadly of all very biased.

We had a very positive experience at Sakamoto Elementary during our child’s kindergarten year.Like many children starting school, our child had growth to do — not only academically, but also socially and emotionally. What we appreciated most was that Miss Paige saw our child as a whole child. She recognized our child’s strengths, including curiosity, creativity, vocabulary, leadership potential, and love of participating, while also helping our child work on areas such as self-regulation, classroom routines, and making positive choices throughout the day.The communication and behavioral support systems were very helpful. At first, as a parent, it can be difficult to receive feedback about your child, but over time we saw how much the structure helped our child become more self-aware and motivated to improve. By the end of the year, the growth was clear — academically, socially, and emotionally.We especially appreciated that Miss Paige was always kind, professional, and balanced. She noticed the little things about our child and helped bring out our child’s potential. The progress from winter to spring was very evident, and our child finished kindergarten feeling confident and ready for first grade.Miss Paige brings clear structure, consistency, and high expectations to the classroom, and for our child, that was a tremendous benefit. Our child became more focused, a better listener, more aware of classroom rules, and more invested in how each day went. Most importantly, our child began to care about making good choices and being responsible — life skills that will serve well beyond kindergarten.Overall, we are grateful for Sakamoto and for the care, patience, and dedication shown by Miss Paige and the school community.
