Description

These are the stories behind the features of this beautifully crafted home. The Living room fireplace mantle is custom made from rift sawn White Oak by a local craftsman. The unique finish has been achieved by ''fuming'' the Oak. The key element in the family room is the authentic reclaimed woods. The beam that makes up the mantle, was reclaimed from a barn in Central Oregon that had been erected in 1892. Many hours were spent fitting stones on the front of the fireplace. The hearth is a Blue Stone. Looking back into the kitchen from the Family room, there are more reclaimed materials. The white washed wood is from a milking parlor. The master bathroom is a sanctuary from the stresses of life. There is a sparkling chandelier over the tub, and the tile floors are heated. **The shop is 24x32, 768sf. ** The neighborhood is quiet and having the canal trail within a block and access to the river without having to travel the busy streets is a gift. This truly custom home is a must see.

"We have lived in this neighborhood for about six years and we really love this great little pocket neighborhood. We love the community path that leads down to the Old Mill and the fact that we're so close to downtown and 97. It's a surprisingly quiet spot considering how central it is. I love to ride my bike down to the Deschutes River Trail, the Canal Trail, downtown and to other areas of the city."
  • Deb
"I am not a dog owner, but the neighborhood has lots of dogs. They need to be on leash, as their is quite a bit of traffic. "
