Not a very good school. The student experience is overwhelmingly boring, and many teachers are awful. There are a few great, caring teachers, but they are entirely overshadowed by the bad ones. The school has almost no electives that aren't art classes, and they are taught by teachers who don't care.

As of 2025, I am a student at this school. The teachers here are respectful and motivate students to learn, yet none of them do. I would only recommend this school for the teachers, but not the students. 90% of the time, the students in my classes are very disrespectful to the teachers and to those around them. None of them learn at all, either. I'm a straight A student and everyone asks me how that's possible. It's sad. Barely anyone I know has more than a 90% (or an A) on their report card each quarter/semester.Other than that, the teachers here are incredible people who genuinely want to educate. I have wanted to make a list of my favorite teachers, yet I cannot place them in order from least to worst. Every teacher is different, but all of them care. Also, I feel like I could trust all of my teachers with anything because they will actually do something about it. Honestly, I'm here only for the teachers and education anyway.This school also provides a safe environment for all students. There is rarely ever, if not never, any bullying based on race, gender, or sexuality. The students at this school might not have the desire to learn, but they are quite accepting. As a person with an emotional disability, I have made many loyal and kind friends at this school who accept me for who I am and understand that my shortcomings do not define me.Social-emotional support at this school is quite nice, since there are always policemen and counselors who are trustworthy and free to talk to in a comfortable and safe environment. From experience, I have talked to both a counselor and an officer during my time here, and both will listen to you respectfully without judgement and offer solutions to your problems. Overall, I'm only here to learn anyway and for the education that this school offers. Would recommend if you're here for those reasons.

This school is the worst school imaginable people say Island Coast is bad it's nothing compared to this school most teachers do not care about you or treat you with any respect whatsoever I had a teacher arguing with me because I simply asked a kid if we had a sub and they said yes and I was happy but not in a overly way because any kid would be happy for a sub day and someone told on me and she said in a very rude way "do you have anything to say to my face" and I walked away and she yelled back "so you don't have anything to say to my face" as if she's trying to fight me. The students their are very disrespectful I had a kid who I thought was my friend make a post calling me the r word behind my back reported it to the school and they had nothing to say or do about it they didn't even punish him. Overall teachers disrespectful students disrespectful most teachers don't do their job at all or we'll just go to any other school around town.

Muy mala ,nunca atienden a los padres ,y tratan muy mal a los padres de los estudiantes cuando les piden cualquier información, son muy racistas, y tienen muy mala actitud en todo y sus profesores son muy malos.

I had 2 kid's at Skyline. My son was there from pre k- 5th. Teacher's very helpful, small amount of problems with bullies for my daughter( but that's been all schools we've been in). Overall Great school!

At dismissal we are not allowed to contact our parents which we should be able to do, If an emergency we are also not allowed to contact our parents, and “on school grounds” we are not allowed to even “touch” our phones during diss misal

My experience is pretty Good as far as teaching wise but they can be a bit strict but otherwise that’s it.

My daughter and I we choice this school after view all the benefit the provide on the web site and after see the wonder presentation the do on the open house. They promise many activities after school like art and other .We choice this school for be last step to college, my daughter was exited with this school ,in my house me and my wife we have really good fait on this academy and all the promise the offer BUTAfter first three month we star see the reality inside the school the routine my daughter has ever school day.Stress was at first think we noticed and my wife and me we sink the my be is normal but never endsOn second quarter everything change drastically bulling was the big concern and we can see any improved My daughter tell me they do same to other kids on the lunch time and in class (remember this are kids and there learning )She keep tell me the problems there are on the school fight, kids with criminals record ( you fine on the news BUT never on the school) and so on For all this nothing was informed to me or wife and nothing look is done the remedy the problem just keep HIDDen.I don’t Recommended this school at all ..

Principal Lisa Murphy, with the incident of my daughter, JP, at your after-school program getting the contusion on her shin bone I am still waiting on seeing the "other camera angle" footage that you mentioned about when you showed me the footage of the kids behind that long, big bush where you really couldn't make out at all what happened. The morning after the incident you had mentioned to me that you saw the footage that clearly showed my daughter falling on her own and not being pushed by five kids as she told me, however, you only showed me that one footage of the bush obstructing the view of what happened before she went down. That morning that I had the appointment with you in your office, where the school officer was present as well, to view the footage I asked you how could you tell that she fell with those bushes in the way, and I told you that I could not see behind those bushes you mentioned that you had other camera angles. When I asked you why then were you showing me the bush footage instead of the one where you stated that you could clearly see that she fell, it begs the question why wouldn't you have that footage ready the morning of our appointment instead of the footage that you showed me. A lot of time has gone by and I still have yet to see the camera you mentioned to me, which I am still waiting to view it. That first incident was not handled properly, therefore, it went from a contusion to a concussion now & traumatic brain injury with the most recent incident. Please, kindly let me know when I can view all of the footages thank you.

I am totally and completely disgusted by my experience today at the school. I have an exchange student that attends this school. Her parents came from Korea and just wanted to see the school she attended. We asked security and was told to park and enter. We went in theOffice. I explained to the lady at the front desk and tried to introduce her to the students family. She was so rude. She didn't smile or say hello and looked at all of us as if we were inconveniencing her. It was embarrassing to me. She should be ashamed of her behavior. I also explained the reason the student had been out of school because her family was visiting. She asked me do want to speak to a counselor?I said no we just stopped by to show the family the school. We didn't ask for a tour or we were not there to bother anyone. This school should be proud to have these students and you people in the office are the face of this school. If you cant smile and welcome people you shouldn't be there.
