"Traffic free and relaxing compared to Los Angeles. Get across town in 15 minutes. Winter will slow you down on snow days but not by much."

"Great elementary school, good neighbors and generally a safe community, even in the lower income neighborhoods"
  • Florediego97
"I lived in this neighborhood for three years a lot of people are nice! And very friendly and it’s a nice place to live"
  • Epalmaer
"Love the proximity to the river, the many pines in the neighborhood and the friendliness of the neighbors."
  • Lscooks
"I've lived here since 2005, and it's a beautiful, safe friendly tract of about 350 homes. The river walk is a couple blocks down, where you can walk 3 1/2 miles along the Deschutes, ending up at the Old Mill. Most people have dogs, and the whole town is extremely dog friendly. Downtown and the Old Mill provide plenty of shopping and dining opportunities. Summers are short, but filled with an abundance of outdoor things to do. We spend several days a week kayaking on the river, or one of the many Cascade Lakes, which are about a 25 minute drive. "
  • Bob J.
"Great quiet neighborhood with open common area, access to river trail, and neighborhood commericial/retail area including restaurants, grocery store, daycare and coffee shop among other ammenities."
