5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids just transferred to this school from another state. The teachers so far are very friendly and approachable. Both of my children's teachers send home communication sheets that clearly lay out what the children will be doing the following week. The afterschool "daycare" that is associated with the school is terrible. The women that work the program sit on their behinds and yell at the kids the whole time. Mine where there for a week and every day when I would drop them off and pick them up all the kids where sitting on a filthy floor watching movies that have fowl language in them. For snack the kids were fed doritos and told they have to go to the water fountain for drink. Both my children told me that the women that work there are very friendly to the grown ups and as soon as the parents would leave they yell at the kids with a bullhorn.Parent Review10y ago - Crestview High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSo far, I have been attending this school for first quarter. Only a couple weeks in through the first quarter I have already run into some issues, bus stops. In the beginning I was told that my bus stop is across at moore loop, I also lived very far away from there which was ridiculous to have to walk all the way over there especially at 6 in the morning especially during winter months when it is darker outside. Me and my parents decided to talk to the principal to ask how we can fix this issue, my parents are usually busy and dont have the time to do this in person as both do have full time jobs. So we decided to do this by calling them and sending a voicemail, My mother has tried a couple times but it took them 3 weeks to fully respond and tell us how to fix it. They told us to speak to the bus administration and they would handle it, so we did. We tried speaking to them about the issue but it took them another week to respond, once they did they promised they would add a bus atop near my house and it will be there monday. On monday I waited out my house just waiting for the bus too come, I noticed they were late and i had to be drove to school by mom’s friend due to the fact they have never came. Turna out they didnt inform the bus driver nor did the school due to laziness, or lack of consideration and only told them till later. NEXT ISSUE! Teachers.I am in beginning band this year and the new band teacher is quite nitpicky, or rude. She covers up her behavior by being silly or the “fun” teacher. I own a 1000 dollar clarinet and when I used to put my instrument in the lockers the case got scratched or broken because kids mishandled my instrument and shoving it aside to put theirs in, this school has enough money to put clothes in PE lockers but none for band. We then decided to tell the band teacher about this and she gave us quite a lot of attitude and promised to look at cameras and tell the principal and etc to see who did it. Weeks later it STILL has not happend. This school has an issue of taking care of issues and dealing with problems and I find the staff incredibly lazy and frustrating. Not to mention they make so much money off of spirit wear and force you to buy it or punish you if you dont. Yet they probably don’t pay staff enough and dont care about the quality of their school, shame on you Davidson.Student Review6mo ago - Northwest Florida Ballet Academie

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child in 5th grade and he love this school so much he said he never want to go to any public school that has reset again instead of do PE they do ballet everyday and he absolutely happy with that also kids in this school had a good manner teacher and staff are great they recognized every child parents since school so small they spot are limited so it’s very hard to get in this school it’s for hard work children who can become a ballerina star in the future!!Parent Review6mo ago - Okaloosa Virtual Franchise

"I have lived here for almost forty years. Our small town has grown into a decent sized smaller city. People are friendly and helpful to others if they need it. Lots of different things to do. Pet friendly"

"There are a bunch of Stray cats. Other dog owners don’t clean up after their dogs while on walks. Some of the fences make it easy for dogs to escape."

"I have lived here for a year and am surprised I haven't been robbed yet. Seriously, if you're going to live in this city live on the south side, not the north..or don't live here. It's truly a drug infested violent area. No place to raise a family...on the north side that is. South Crestview isn't too bad, with the city expanding and new homes being built next to nicer newer homes and apartment complexes. Be wise. "

"People are friendly towards pets as long as you pick up after them and don’t let them bark all hours of the night. Just simple pet courtesies."
