  • Trulia User
"It's quiet where i live. My commute is great! Nice neighborhood. I keep to myself so i can't give any details other than it's a peaceful little area on Bayview."
  • Trulia User
"Neighbors know and keep an eye out for each other. Kids walk to school on their own. Lots of urban veggie gardens. "
  • Trulia User
"Lots of dogs. In general people pick up after their animals. Some times a British Shorthair is walked on a leash in the neighborhood."
  • Colin.fahrion
"Farmers market is the main one especially the fishmonger. And the off the Grid food trucks on a Wednesday are great"
  • Melissa

  • Michelle M.
"Buses run regularly on San Pablo Ave, and El Cerrito is about two blocks way. I grew up in the Anex and loved the Area."
  • Fairysmacker

"Walking 15 minutes to Bart or driving down, then I travel to wherever I need to get to via Bart or Muni. "
  • Rffkhalil
"Tight knit community. Lots of beautiful tiny bungalows. Unique and interesting community. People care for their homes. ā€œHippieā€ streak. Close to Solano Ave & Berkeley dining scenes. Lots of great food. Close to Bart. Incredibly walkable. Great place to live."
  • Manuel V.
"Lived around here for my entire life and never had any problems, the area around here is great because of the so many local stores around and shops not that far. Richmond has always been a good station for going everywhere else in the bay from SF to concord and Oakland and more, those places aren’t to far of a drive "
  • Helene B.
"The Richmond Annex is a wonderful place to live. There is a mix of ages and nationalities. You can walk to grocery shopping, post office, drug store, dry cleaning and restaurants. The neighborhood is very friendly and neighbors look out for each other. Our block has a block party each year. Many of the streets in the Annex have views of the Bay. There is no trouble parking in front of your house like some areas of Berkeley and Oakland, but it still has that Alameda County vibe."
