About this House

Amazing opportunity. Very large apartment with three (3!) bedrooms in Durham's most convenient neighborhood. Put the address in google maps and then pick your favorite Durham locations. Many are less than a few blocks away. One of the few areas where you could actually survive without a car. You could walk to either Duke East Campus, Coco Cinnamon Coffee, or the downtown farmer's market before the uber you called arrived to pick you up. This is the exact line between Trinity Park and Duke Park.

Very 50's retro styling with wood windows, hardwood floors, granite counters, tiled bath, plenty of closet space, and basement access for your bikes. There is a closet in every bedroom, but also one for the bathroom, one for the hallway, and one beside the front door for coats. Washer and dryer conveniently located in large hall closet accessible to every bedroom. There is even a third hall closet with a cat door for litter boxes if you have cats- or just a crazy additional closet if you don't!

Forested lot, washer and dryer in unit, and central heat and ac. Dishwasher too! Great neighborhood.

Oh- and there is a raised back deck that overlooks the forest. Yep, a half acre of forest right downtown that is the backyard of this unit. But it is really wild forest - you would have to build your own paths.

Some shared space in the basement for a storage unit. The apartment is assigned a 10 by 10 spot where additional items can be stored. Convenient place for bicycles or other recreational items, like kayaks or anything.

We have four of these units, most tenants stay for 5 years or more, and we have some that have been there for more than a decade. This one just came open after 6 years. Pets of all kinds welcome, as long as they are quiet.

Friendly landlords who live on the same street.

12 month lease that can be broken at any time with a 30 day notice from the beginning of the month. Please note the price is nearly 300 a month less than what zillow recommends. It is a rare deal.
