About this House

DESCRIPTION: FURNISHED APARTMENT WITH GARAGE for rent by owner. Traveling workers accepted. 30 day minimum. One bedroom high-end apartment located below ground level of a residential home. Rentable to an individual or a couple. No pets allowed. Owner has a well trained dog on the property. All utilities and internet included.

If YOUR PRIORITIES are comfort, security and aesthetics with a personal touch then you have come to the right place. As an interior designer, I have given much thought to creating a place where you can have all your needs met and feel at home.

COMFORT: Brightly lit and spacious, there are areas for intimate conversation and quiet relaxation. For a couple, there are places to work and relax separately in privacy.

SECURITY: You enter through the garage using your remote control door opener. Closing the door behind you, you have complete security. From there you go up a few steps to the main entry.

AESTHETICS: The decor is eclectic, with an emphasis on nature. It is a mix of modern, traditional and farmhouse with wall decor of Montana wild animals and our local treasure Glacier National Park.

PERSONAL TOUCH: You will be living in a nice home in a quiet and safe neighborhood. My residence is on the main floor and yours is below. I am available for whatever I may be able to help you with: suggestions on how to best enjoy life in Montana (where to go, what to do), problem solving and even to simply to borrow a cup of sugar.

LOCATION: Quiet residential neighborhood. Five minute walk to downtown Kalispell. Ten minute drive to Logan Hospital Complex. Ten minute drive to several parks for walking, hiking, biking, and equestrian activities. Fifteen minute drive to Glacier International Airport or Flathead Lake. Fifteen minute drive to Costco and the other big box stores. Forty five minute drive to Glacier Park National Park

MAIN LIVING AREA is open and spacious with an office and conversation area.

OFFICE: A desk, office supplies, Powered USB Hub, adjustable leather office chair.

KITCHEN has a dining table for four, a long marble countertop and fine quality cabinetry with plenty of storage. The refrigerator has filtered drinking water and a convenient bottom drawer freezer. There is a dishwasher, stove, oven and microwave. The appliances are in excellent condition.

BEDROOM is inviting and restful. You'll see flowers outside of the window. There are two dressers, an open style closet, a cozy swivel rocker and a queen sized bed with a supportive cushioned mattress.

THE DEN: Warm and cozy place to watch movies or streaming on a Smart TV. Relax on a sofa or loveseat of sumptuous Italian leather.

BATHROOM is accessed by a door in the bedroom or a door to the main area. Heated tile floor. The creatively beautiful tile work and the unique shower give it a special feel.

LAUNDRY ROOM is located off the kitchen for your own private use. Besides a front loading washer and dryer pair, there is a place for hanging and folding clothes, an ironing board and iron, and extra storage space.

GARAGE for parking your car with space for a bike or other sports equipment, plus a work table and storage cabinets.

BACK YARD: The garages gives access, through a locked door, to the back yard. The back yard is enclosed by fencing and trees, making it totally private. We have a lovely wall of blossoming Lilacs in the spring. And the opposite side has an empty flower bed just waiting for a gardener. The fireplace and decorative strings of lights makes it the perfect place to visit with friends on a cool summer evening..

  • Kwm5912
"The Picnic in the Park events in the summer. Great place to meet your neighbors and listen to a little music from a local musician. Imbibe in a little refreshment, eat aa few well procured snacks, have a little fun."
  • TJ
"It’s a great community to live and work in. The people are nice and friendly and I love the rural feeling."
  • TJ
"There is really no public transportation, but you can walk or ride a bike to grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, etc."
  • Crystal Salvaggio
"This is a very poor area as far as being a dog friendly. There is nowhere at all to let your dog out to run and to play the only exercise you can get is on leash very disappointing."
  • Karen Mcelaney
"Easy commute to all surrounding destinations. Whitefish, Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake are all in super close proximity."
  • Kelola2
"The commute to town is busy during rush hour during morning and after work. The traffic never stops completely, and is able to go the posted speed during this time.."
  • Uncle T.
"short fences dogs can jump wish more people cleaned up after their dog cats suck but kill mice Great neighborhood "
  • Tricia B.
"This is a great place to raise family. Good school good churches. The cost of housing is high as there is a lot of tourists and vacation rentals. More and more people are relocating. Evergreen is probably the highest in crime and drug use around here. "
  • Cameron L. S.
"all the events that are in the community make the community special even the big the small and allg g "
  • No266h
"Amazing small town feel walking through the neighborhood after dinner. Friendly people and families on walks!!"

"The area that I live in is nice but the neighboring areas are run down, boarded up, and look a little rough. I feel safe in my house but a few blocks away, I wouldn’t. "
  • Holliskmay

"We love our neighbors and fast food and restaurants are within walking distance as well as shopping and groceries. "
  • Pad_e2
"I use to live here and enjoy the atmosphere it has....it change a lot since I've lived in Idaho but look forward to buying my dream house as you d say... I will have a portion of my life back... but in getting here I've found that a lot of relators have their own pockets in mind and not the service I am looking for.. I've come to the conclusion though that I still think Montana has and still maintains the mountain country feel.... but that a true Montana native can really only appreciate those words."
  • Shortnstuf
"I think they would like the sidewalks and grassy areas and parks. Lots of room for dogs to roam and people are very tolerant of animals."
  • itsnonsense_182
"Not a single thing at all sadly the neighbors are nosey and feel the need to question and call the cops on everything"
  • Sarah K.
"beautiful views, friendly people, very little crime, just far enough from town but close enough to stores and restaurants"
  • Aimee S. R.
"We've lived in our neighborhood 9 years....it is private...quiet with a tremendous view of the mountains"
  • cdw2377
"Live in area, nice neighborhood, beautiful views. Owner of new construction home on 1.37 acres."
