2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has been a student at this school for 3 years, We have been trying to get him out of the school for many reasons. First being the other student and the poor parenting households they come from. Second the lack of leadership, this school year there was 3 different principals and no one had a clue what was going on. Third Most of the staff seemed just a ghetto as the parents that bought there children there. This school offers no recreational activities for the students what so ever. I must say there was a few dedicated teachers but the majority seemed not to care because the parents of the students did not care. I feel my child has lost a tremendous amount of precious time in that school, and I hope to gain a better quality education for him at another school.Parent Review11y ago - Edmund J O'neal Middle Of Excellence

"I work and hike through the neighborhood. The rent has gone up greatly since 2014. It has become hard to find even a room and bed bug infestation is a problem in many homes unfortunately. . The bus system is very good and walking through the neighborhood is nice. The people are not outwardly friendly but they are helpful if you ask for help.. I love albany."
